rc9gn: Daichi Ren Norisu

Hey! okay, yeah this is daichi. Son of Randy and Nomi.

Daichi is the first and only son. basically he's an only child. He is part tengu.The reason he is part tengu is for now gonna remain a mystery ehehe.  He was homeschooled till he was about 12 or 11. He has a sort of out going personality but at the same time he is smart, wise, kind, cheerful, Adventurous, Courageous, and a the list goes on. ( i could go on forever but eeggh) However he can be very naive and is easily fooled or tricked. He is very nervous about his tengu powers. He didn't know he was part tengu until he looked in a mirror one day. Noticing his eyes. He has some trouble controlling his powers. They are kind of linked to his emotions, so sometimes when he is angry, they'll flash a bright red. His powers also evolve as he matures. When he was little, it was just his eyes, But as he grows older more stuff kind of adds on. Nomi is also teaching Daichi how to control these powers and use them.

When he was 10, Daichi was given a bird as an early christmas present, and decided to name him Tengu. Tengu sort of acts like a guardian to Daichi, he is very protective of him and loyal. Tengu almost never leaves daichi's side, and Tengu relaxes him when he is stressed or when he is any discomfort. Daichi also has a big interest in birds, and actually has a small ability to understand and even communitcate with them, due to his tengu ties.

School wise, Daichi is just above average, plenty of people in the school know him but some for the wrong reasons. He isn't always in control of his tengu abilities, and so, he acts a little strange. And has been given a few harsh/nasty nicknames. However Nomi and Randy are always there to comfort him. Daichi does have a few friends, but they do not know his secret. Nomi has strictly told him no one can know he is part tengu. Daichi sometimes thinks Nomi doesn't want him to tell anyone because he feels he is a freak. But in truth, Nomi does it for Daichi's safety. Being half bird demon is dangerous. As Daichi could make a lot of enemies and there are some, who even hunt his kind. Daichi is oblivious to this information, Randy and Nomi wanting Daichi to live with out the worry.

Daichi is very close to his parents. Randy and Daichi mostly goof off with each other, sometimes annoying Nomi in the process. Randy actually is the one who trains Daichi. (like ninja stuff. ninja training and stuff) while Nomi teaches Daichi about his tengu powers and much more. If Daichi has something on his mind, he goes to Nomi. Daichi feels like he can tell Nomi anything, but he still has and keeps his secrets. Daichi is kind of closed off at school but very open and outgoing around his parents.

Name: Daichi Ren Norisu.

(Daichi's name means "great" "earth or land" and "wisdom and intellect")

Age: 15 or 14. (still kind of making a decision)

birth date: |??? idk still deciding.

Interests: Archery, Birds, music. He has a small interest in video editing and watching some anime.
Favourite drink: Hot chocolate, extra chocolately.

Fears: Having his tengu side complete possess him and take over him. Hurting others because of his powers. Losing his parents. some bugs but not all. Has a small fear of needles, doesn't mind them but they make him feel nausated. Thunder. Cats. ( still a work in progress)

taste in music: pretty much everything but country, blues, and folk.

some of his comments---

-I imagine this kid begging nomi for a pet bird. Like a fancy budgie or something like that.
After a full year of begging he finally gets one as an early Christmas gift and he decides to call him tengu.

He has no idea what it means but he 'over heard' randy and nomi talking about it and thought it sounded like a cool name. 
Daichi's bird also annoys and hates the hell out of nomi.

--Randy teaching Daichi how to eat ramen with chopsticks. Daichi just ends up drinking it straight from the bowl.

-Nomi home schooling Daichi. Nomi's always trying to get him to concentrate on his school work and lessons while Randy and Daichi mess around,making pillow fort's and ninja fighting. (Even though randy is an adult now he still tends to act like a goofy kid sometimes)

-Daichi has a dream to become just like randy. To fight off evil and defend the innocent like his dad has done, but nomi doesn't like the idea because he is still very young and doesn't want to lose him like the ways he had almost lost randy in the past.

-Daichi being afraid of thunder storms. Whenever he hears thunder at night he run's out of his own room to go hide in his parents bed (because what child hasn't done this?)

-when Daichi grows older he soon finds out he is half tengu when he has a hard time controlling his powers and emotions at school. He then gets very nervous and cautious about himself as a young teen. nomi would comfort him by giving him tea and telling him his favorite stories as a kid. ( or something like that.)

wow what a long read am i right.

this actually took me 2 hours to write. like holy frick i was researching stuff and debating on stuff. looking up old comments. JUST HOLY FRICVK. OKAY i know in the drawing above he looks like a nervous dork, BUT HE ISN'T ALWAYS nervous. his tengus powers just sometimes make him uncomfortable.
